A world seen through color and sensitivity

Momo Magallon is a Panamanian painter and multidisciplinary artist whose work captures the beauty of the everyday through a unique sensitivity. Born in Panama City in 1989, she studied Fine Arts at the Universidad de Panama before completing her MFA at the School of Visual Arts in New York.

Her paintings draw from the lush tropical landscapes of her homeland, translating organic forms — mushrooms, botanical gardens, rainforest canopies — into vibrant, textured compositions. Her work has been showcased across Latin America, the U.S., and Europe.

Magallon's practice spans painting, photography, and textile design, making her a natural collaborator for LIBE's vision of wearable art. She currently lives and works between Panama City and Brooklyn.

"I want people to wear my paintings — to carry a garden with them wherever they go."

The Anthesis Collection

For LIBE's debut collection, Momo transformed photographs from founder Aliza's garden into a series of painterly prints — mushroom motifs, botanical textures, and organic forms translated onto luxurious silks and cottons.
