Aliza Liberman

Aliza has always had an innate passion for design. From a very young age, her mother exposed her to art, fashion, culture and antiques. She loved accompanying her to museum and gallery exhibitions, and to antique shops, where everything seemed beautiful to her, sharpening her curiosity and her taste for craftsmanship and well made objects.

Her appreciation for fashion and textiles was rooted even deeper, in her grandmother’s exclusive boutique in Panama. The shop carried the most stylish garments imported from Europe. Aliza still remembers walking through it as a child, touching the silky fabrics and admiring the lace, captivated by their beauty. Those early experiences sparked a lifelong fascination with textiles and quality.

At seven, Aliza began designing outfits for her Barbies. By fifteen, she had already envisioned creating luxury pajamas, believing they were timeless pieces that offered a sense of individuality. With her mother’s encouragement, she sourced Swiss cotton and with a local couturier created her first prototype, her introduction to fashion design.

Although she later studied architecture, she regularly traveled to source fabrics and designed clothing for friends, recognizing that architecture and fashion share the same foundation: combining creativity with functionality.

The idea for LIBE emerged during Panama’s extended lockdown during the pandemic. Surrounded by a world of sportswear and casual clothing, Aliza longed for garments that felt as comfortable as loungewear but carried the elegance and refinement of getting dressed. She envisioned elevated pieces that could be worn effortlessly at home or beyond.

LIBE was born from a vision:

Collections of refined essentials that blend comfort, elegance, and functionality. The brand is defined by exclusive prints, exceptional fabrics, meticulous craftsmanship, and a thoughtful production model.

This vision comes to life through designs crafted from high-quality materials, featuring exclusive prints by artists from around the world, making each garment truly unique.
